DEUTZ, the internationally renowned diesel engine manufacturer, is to put its range of Stage IIIB / Tier4 interim emission compliant engines on public display for three weeks in July, beginning Monday, 13th 2009. The company will also be showing its full range of exhaust after treatments (EAT).
Stage IIIB / Tier4 interim legislation is a major issue today, and DEUTZ is ideally placed to deliver fully compliant engines. Visitors to this show, which is being held at the company’s offices in Cannock, will be able to see production versions of these engines, as well as examples of EAT options, for themselves. See the actual engine sizes and get an opportunity to discuss any aspect of the technology and the implications of the Stage IIIB / Tier4 interim legislation with DEUTZ experts.
During the three weeks from July 13th, DEUTZ will hold daily sessions at its offices, designed to allow interested parties to assess the engines for themselves and to take advantage of the company’s technical expertise and experience in both the both new engine and aftermarket sectors. As well as the company’s pioneering hybrid power unit, the DEUTZ engines on display will include:
- TD 2009 L4
3- and 4- cylinder naturally aspirated in-line engines
- TD 2010 L4
4 cylinder in-line engines
- TCD 2012 L6 4V
Water cooled 4- and 6-cylinder in-line engines
- TCD 2013 L6 4V
Water-cooled 4- and 6-cylinder in-line engines

Liquid-cooled V6 and V8 cylinder, 90° engines
There will also be a display of Exhaust After Treatment (EAT) options, Diesel Particulate Filters (DPF), Selective Catalytic Reducers (SCR) and Particulate Oxidation Catalysts (POC).
Visitors are very welcome to visit without an appointment, though anyone who would like to have an in-depth discussion with one of the DEUTZ experts who will be present, can arrange to do so by calling in advance.
July 13th will also mark two other significant events. First, it will be the launch date of the new DEUTZ training facility – the company offers training across all engine-related fields; including emissions, servicing, engine management software EMR and application installation. Secondly, July 13th will see the launch of the new DEUTZ website
(www.deutz-driven.co.uk), which will be live from this date.
