The DEUTZ AG long-service association celebrates its centenary this year. In 1911, 47 years after
the foundation of ‘N.A. Otto & Cie.’, the world’s first engine factory, a number of longstanding employees formed a long-service association with the aim of organising regular social events in order to encourage contact among staff members and with the company. The association has also always received support from the company. Today, 100 years after its foundation, the long-service association is still active and arranges summer trips and Christmas parties, providing opportunities for members to meet up regularly. The association is celebrating its centenary in August of this year with a big party for its members, which will be held at Cologne’s Tanzbrunnen theatre.
“We would like to congratulate the long-service association on its 100th anniversary,” said Dr
Helmut Leube, Chairman of the Board of Management of DEUTZ AG. “The association brings
together current and former employees from many different generations who have always remained
loyal to the company and supported it through their dedication.”
